Experience Worship & Biblical Teaching as a Family

If you visit ECF, we think you will find that you are welcomed into a relaxed atmosphere, by humble people united to worship God and be formed as apprentices of Jesus. You will notice people of all ages, most of us dressed casually.

We sing a few songs of worship together and sometimes recite the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostles Creed or some other form of corporate confession. This is usually followed by a presentation rooted in the Bible. Every second Sunday we end the service by sharing in what is called communion, Eucharist or The Lord’s Supper: a bite of bread and tiny cup of wine (juice actually). These serve as reminders of Jesus’s battered and broken body and His blood which dripped from the cross, as reminders of what love looks like and as a lesson on being united as a community of equals at His table.

Our gatherings always end in a prayer and a benediction or blessing given by the pastor and usually people linger for coffee and cookies or even lunch after the service ends.

Children are together with adults for worship time, after which they can join a Sunday School class during the pastors message. Parents with toddlers and infants are supported as well.
